"The birth place of ISRO named after father of ISRO Vikram Sarabhai - open to public except on Sundays and allows to witness launches of Rohini series which happen every month in the TERLS ( Thumba Equatorial Launching Station) and consists of the historic Mary Magdalene Church which was contributed by locals of Thumba to ISRO which is now reformed into a space museum.. On the space day, public visits are well organized with transports and celebrated like festivals.. It serves as the production head of ISRO."
